Johanna has enjoyed doodling, drawing and painting as far back as she can remember.

It is only during the last few years that she has taken her hobby seriously and regularly offers her paintings to charities and to private collectors. Her paintings can be found in many private collections, world-wide, including America, Canada, Europe and Australia .

She gets her inspiration from various flavours of The Maltese Islands and the Mediterranean.  When she paints she captures forgotten times gone by in a unique and modern style of her own seeing incredible beauty in the simplest of form.  'There's lots to paint on these wonderful, warm, sunny, little islands that are bursting with so much history and culture and yet are so simple and modest' she says.  Her paintings depict Maltese buildings, wooden balconies, doors and windows and the lovely mellow limestone

This past year, Johanna, with the help of friends, has produced nearly full size limited edition prints which are being offered at fantastically low prices.
